These are cut resistant gloves - Great for the kitchen and any work involving objects with sharp edges (Knives, sheet metal, glass, etc.)  My husband LOVES these!  He is a big grilling guy so he loves to cut up veggies quickly and not worry about cutting his hands.  BEST THING I'VE BOUGHT ALL WEEK!!!!
