I keep hearing this from my brilliant honors daughter. She makes at least a B+ every term and she keeps trying to convince me that she would make an A if she was in regular math class. I refuse to allow my daughter to take the easy road just to boost her grade 2 points. What happened to being proud of being smart? I am constantly hearing about how my daughter doesn't want anyone to know that she is all honor's classes and that people might think she is a nerd. She is a beautiful blonde hair, crystal blue eyes, and a cheerleader. How can anyone think that this smart, stunning young lady is anything less than what she is? Why is being smart something to be ashamed of? I wonder how much longer this will last in her life? If it were me no young lady would ever feel like less of a lady because she is smarter than the average. Don't dumb yourself down for anyone build yourself up for you.
Just my buzz...
